This one day workshop will focus on getting the shots!! We start out by meeting promptly at 5am to travel to a sunrise location to catch the first light of the rising sun coming up over the mountains. Quickly followed by a day hike of several miles along Hog Camp Branch and Dark Hollow Falls shooting spring streams, waterfalls and wildflowers. In the afternoon, we break for lunch at the lodge together as a group and depending on the light and weather shoot more streams/falls or explore Big Meadows in search of wildlife, macro and patterns. As the day gets closer to sunset, we will be heading off for a short hike to one of the rocky mountain summits to catch last light and sunset over the Appalachian Mountains. This workshop is limited to 6 to maximize both shooting and learning conditions.
